When you need us, we’ll be there for you.
We reserve same-day appointments and drop offs for our patients with urgent care visits. The types of symptoms and conditions we treat include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Allergies
- Scratching
- Excessive licking or grooming
- Ear infections, skin infections
- Ear discharge
- Scratching or shaking head
- Red, irritated skin
- Rashes or sores
- Allergic reactions
- Hives
- Swelling
- Anal gland scooting or licking
- Coughing
- Trouble, issues, or changes with urinating
- Decreased, increased, or changes in appetite
- Dehydration, decreased or changes in drinking habits
- Constipation
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Eye squinting, discharge
- Fever
- Hiding, not feeling well, lethargy
- Limping
- Trouble walking
- Back pain
- Abscesses, Lacerations, Wounds
- End-of-life care (euthanasia)
- Your pet seems “off” or is in discomfort

If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, requires hospitalization, or further diagnostics we will refer you to a 24/7 emergency hospital.
If your pet needs an after-hours visit, please seek care at an after-hours urgent care or a 24/7 emergency hospital. They will send us a report of your visit so that you may follow up and continue care at Metrowest Veterinary Associates.
